Project goals

  • Redesign of the presentation of digital copies of historical materials about the Holodomor in Ukraine.
  • Testimonies, publications, resources about the Famine in Ukraine of 1932-33.
  • Set up convenient navigation of project materials, search, take into account WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards.

Results achieved

  • The structure and design of the site have been completely updated.
  • Access to materials or links to sources of information has been simplified.
  • The main page presents past and current events dedicated to the study and coverage of the Holodomor in Ukraine.
  • The Grands & Opportunities section presents annual grants and support for the study of the Holodomor events by scholars from around the world.
  • A convenient administrative system has been created for filling in and maintaining the site.
